The Downtown Cleanup Project

Saturday, April 27, 2013
8:00 - 11:30 a.m.

Starting point: Boys & Girls Club of Greater Dubuque, 1299 Locust Street

Each spring, Dubuque Main Street and about 200 of our closest friends help to clean up the downtown area. We head from 22nd street all the way down to the Illinois bridge and connector!

Volunteers are needed to canvas the entire 90 block downtown district, and we need all of the help we can get!  Downtown Dubuque is evolving into a thriving city center; we need to maintain all of the revitalization we have achieved by keeping it clean and beautiful. With your help, we can make our city look its best.

A "Main Street Prize Package" ($100 value) will be awarded to the group that collects the most trash! Trash bags should be labeled with group name, tied, and placed next to the street for pick up. (Or near the dumpsters in the Boys & Girls Club parking lot.)

A Thank You Lunch will be served from 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. for volunteers including: complimentary brats, hot dogs, fruit, and more!

To Register Your Team Of Volunteers:

Call Dubuque Main Street (563) 588-4400, email christie@dubuquemainstreet.org, or simply scan the QR code to register your group!

GO GREEN! PITCH IN! GET INVOLVED!
(This makes a great service project.)
